- Open invitation for members to join volunteer groups of regulatory professionals and associates, supported by CFIA regulatory staff, meeting electronically, to address a specific regulatory issue
- Working Group members take an active role in discussing and providing input to the issue and develop consensus-based advice & recommendations for government regulators
- We present an annual conference where Working Group reports are presented and considered, and future strategic directions are discussed. CFIA regulatory staff are invited to participate

Working Group to review and make recommendations on Upper Limits for Heavy Metals in Hydroponic Fertilizers. (ULHMHF)
- CFIA Trade Memo T4-93 regulates heavy metals in soil applied fertilizers

Working Group to review and make recommendations on Dual Property Products. (DPP)
- To explore and recommend regulatory pathways towards a single label, approved by both CFIA and PMRA, for products that have dual properties of growth promotion and plant protection
